Good morning!

I'm sorry I didn't get to a "in the media" post last night. I had a lot on my plate. Also I apologize that Rosie didn't post either, I really don't know why she didn't, well whatever. Ive been a little cranky sense I started this new diet thing , where you drink four cups of green tea a day, don't me wrong I love green tea , but its waking up early I don't like ( to jog). I can promise a few more posts today (from me) But I cannot promise anything from Rosie.

The completely horrid cancer.

I absolutely HATE cancer, I have had people die in my family because of cancer.... It really hurts to experience something like that and they pain you see them go through is horrifying. 

I wish we had a "for sure " cure. People can still die from cancer even when treated with radiation and such. 

America and other countries are really looking for the cure 

Sometime next year I hope to walk in a 3-day challenge for a fundraising event. 

Do you think we will ever find the cure for cancer ?

What I found while browsing today;

A 49 year old women gave birth to her own grandson! A mother accepted to carry her daughters baby, once she found her daughter had a health condition. Congratulations!

Scientist say that by the year 2050 the world wont have a enough food for our population, So the world might be forced into being vegetarians! I think I could handle it ,but others... like wrestlers or athletes .... I dunno ... fast food places are going to start spiraling downward.

Victoria secret is being sued for selling a knock off of another product. Meh I dont really care.

There was a million dollar drag race today, cant find the winner, but i'll keep looking! 




 

It's official, I'm a fish killer.

Well, you know those sucker fish that clean the tank? HOW ON EARTH DID I MANAGE TO KILL IT! Alright here's my story, We had a ton of goldfish  in there with him , so y'know he  could eat and stuff. But being the cheap goldfish they were, died within a week. So I went out and bought some algae food for him (because that's what they eat , also the internet told me too :P) So, I have been feeding him this algae stuff for a few days , I thought it was going well, then overnight , HE EXPLODED. His stomach exploded, So after I'm done cleaning the tank and had a fishy funeral (I really just flushed him, nothing special) I read the instructions on the bag once more. Feed once a day it says on the front, well i suppose I should have read the back more, Remove any excess food after two hours. Oops , I just fed my fish to death and he exploded. Guess that means I'm not getting a dog :p

Don't you hate when someone drops a bomb on you ?


I cant understand why people do that to me all the time ! I'll be in the middle or something or even sleeping and boom, I have to be ready for someone coming in 5 minutes, Or I have to go somewhere in 5 minutes. It's ridiculous that people can be completely unaware that I'm only human and cant wake up and get ready within 5 minutes. INCONSIDERATE . On top of that the house was a mess , So cleaning came first in this race against time, honestly I don't know how I managed to get my hair up in a ponytail within seconds before opening the door.
Sorry for the ranting , but it kinda ruined my day.

Good morning everyone!

Blah, I'm so tired ! I didn't really sleep at all last night , and when I did, I had the weirdest dream. I was a princess , But I slept outside when everyone slept inside , One of my "friends" snuck outside in the middle of the night and tried to steal the crown off my head... But I hid , so then I woke up and was awake for a few hours, then fell back asleep, I had another dream  I lived back at my old house except the people who were there now still lived with us, they had three children. My sisters, My mom, Me were sitting outside when they started throwing edible chickens at us .... When one hit me that's when I  woke up.

Sorry this doesn't make any sense.

A hurricane warning has been set out for the gulf coast , this is occurring about the time hurricane Katrina happened. 

To those who are in the hurricane warning I send my prayers and wish the best of luck to you.

An earth quake shook southern California early this morning with magnitude of 5.5. No reports of injury have been filed. 

Richard white was hiking this weekend , when he was attacked by a grizzly bear. This occurred because White was trying to take pictures of the creature, this also occurred in southern California. 

In conclusion , I don't think anyone should travel to the gulf coast , or go hiking in southern California without protection.

 

The "end of the world"

So, the rumors of 2012 have surfaced again. As we get closer to the supposed date , people are panicking. I don't believe that the world is going to end, The lord said no one can predict the end of the world. The Aztec's must have run out of ink. What do you think about all this? I was watching some psychic predictions(because that's what most people believe), and each of them are different from each other, so I'm a bit skeptical about the whole thing. Even if the world ends at some point in my lifetime , I know I'm going to a better place anyway so why does it matter? And if your not into religion ,even the scientists have proven that the end of the world isn't close. Don't get mad , I'm not preaching or anything, I'm just giving my opinion on this whole thing.

Bathroom Edicate

Does it bother anyone else that some people don't wash their hands after they use the restroom? I just find it rather disgusting. Also when they don't flush the toilet? It's really not that hard! I know people that will use the rest of the toilet paper and not replace it, that's just plain old mean in my opinion. Don't be so lazy!

Sorry, I just had to get that out there because that's happened twice to me today!

Okay, while browsing on the internet I came across this picture of supermodels before and after  their make up

Does it really make that make a big difference, I think for a few it really does... They are all beautiful , no hate intended

 It really shocked me that make up had that much to do with how they look, in my opinion many girls could be supermodels, thanks to make up.

Seasons

Spring: personally my favorite season , not because that the time of year my birthday rolls around (well maybe just a little :P). It's because of the weather, it's not to cold but it hasn't gotten to the point were it's to warm. The flowers blooming are absolutely gorgeous! This is also a great time to start your gardens.

Summer: Most of my friends favorite season, because of course, SUMMER VACATION, yes I admit not being in school for three months is pretty nice. The thing that makes summer my 2nd favorite instead of 1st is the fact that sometimes it just gets too hot! Don't get me wrong the heat is nice sometimes but when I'm trying to sleep and i cant because I'm to sweaty , it's just kind of gross. In my opinion this is the best time to vacation, some may disagree. Sleeping in is one of my favorite parts of summer, how about you?

Fall: This season to me is like spring, not to hot but not too cold. It's a great time of year for apple orchards, gathering pumpkins and such. This season has one of my favorite holidays .... HALLOWEEN! There is a certain age when you get to old for trick or treating though. But you can always dress up!

Winter: My least favorite season. Even though i live in one of the coldest states, I very much dislike the cold. There are a few upsides, hot cocoa is my favorite drink when I'm cold, snowmen decorate most yards, possible school cancellation :P. Christmas is a nice holiday too, but I almost always end up broke in the end.

Criminal justice 

Speeding tickets: Well since I'm not licensed driver I shouldn't complain but I've seen some of the tickets and I think it's kind of ridiculous , some people do actually go pretty fast and do need to realize that's not okay but I've seen some cops pull someone over for 7 over the limit , I mean come one the person wasn't hurting anyone , the cars ahead of them were going faster. And if they haven't noticed , hills do actually in fact make people go a little faster. 

Seat belt law: Okay , yes I do think this should be enforced on people. This think could actually save your life! If you got into a car accident this could prevent you from smashing threw the windshield. Some people actually wear there seat belts but might tuck them under there arms because it bothers their neck or something like that but still get pulled over, Is this  okay ? I guess it doesn't prevent death as well ,but I don't know ... I'm not the expert here.

The red car theory: Yes I have heard of the red car theory, were it is more likely that a red car gets pulled over than any other car. This might be true then again it might not be. I suppose that the color red is  more vibrant and it would be the one to really catch your eye. Also again, I'm not the expert.

Drunk driving/Driving while high: Anyone one doing this should be arrested. I don't feel and sympathy for  you if you get arrested. I have friends who have lost their family members because of drunk driving or driving while under the influence of drugs. Its really unsafe because your judgment isn't the best at that time. You don't really know what you are doing and it's very unsafe. It's simple , just don't do it. Call a cad , stay at the place your at , walk.

Facebook Craze

Yes, I'll admit that i have a facebook and I do check it.
But I am not as addicted as some, I don't spend hours trolling , posting , playing games, etc... Sometimes Facebook is a place where you get to see what people really are. I know a few people who have actually come out of the closet on Facebook, not saying I recommend it. I know some people i don't hang out with anymore, I still see posts from every now and again and I'm glad I made the choices I did. Personally I think people should be careful what they put on their profiles, because at some job interveiw's they actually look at your Facebook to see what your up to and such. As a young person this is crucial, if someone posts a picture of them smoking , (of any substance) the people hiring you will be suspicious and choose not to hire you. Your pictures are something to worry about too, I have a friend who posts pictures of her in a bikini , this to her may make her more "popular" , but i just think that's perverts paradise. Stalkers are the most common things on Facebook , you may not know that many people you don't know could be looking at your Facebook everyday , then again there are privacy settings on there that you could use but some people choose not to, simply because they don't care. In conclusion I think social networking is a tool, if you use it the right way its okay, but if you are messing around and stalking,posting pictures of anything illegal, I say you are basically hitting yourself in the head with this "tool".

Don't be afraid of the dark

Do you believe in ghosts? I recall a few times being scared and feeling like I was being watched, only a few times I have thought I saw something that wasn't supposed to be there. At one of my old houses, you could just walk in the front door and something would feel out of place, like someone was watching you. The basement was the worst in my opinion , it was very scary from what I remembered, it always looked so scary, but it was unfinished so it might of had that effect haunted or not. When I was in my room I had a ceiling fan above my bed and it always looked like someone was sitting on it staring down on me. Now in my new house I haven't really seen anything strange accept for some silverware that had been placed on the table a bit funny over night. There were 4 forks and one knife, the four forks where pointing towards the middle of the table, in the middle of the table was the knife. I found it strange, so I looked it up and found no results. Any clue what this means? What are your opinions on ghosts? Or are they just demons in disguise ?

One Direction 

The next big thing the teenagers are into. Some of there songs are okay, I'm not dissing the band or anything but do they really think they are going to last that long? Look what happened to the Jonas Brothers, they were so famous but died out so fast. Justin Beiber isn't really that famous anymore, but I see crazy obsessed fan girls for him all the time while trolling on facebook. This fan girl thing is kind of ridiculous , I see it almost everywhere. The occasional " ohh I love this band" post is okay but when it's in every status you post, you cannot expect to be on my friends list anymore. Also the fighting about who is hotter is so STUPID , I'm sorry if your into this kinda stuff, but in my opinion I dont find it entertaining at all.

Music
Music has been a big part of my life , when I get frustrated , music is the only thing that really calms me. Anyone else like this? Music doesn't only calm me , sometimes what it's saying is exactly how I feel and it is just kinda nice to hear sometimes. I'm a fan of the older music , not much of the new rap and pop music. I'm much more into Green Day , Nirvana , U2, Bowling For Soup.. Most of the stuff from the 80's. It seems much more real, than just bass and people singing about drugs and shawtys or whatever they talk about. I don't totally hate any music, somethings I find catchy I might listen to once or twice. I'm very open minded and love to listen to new music, Its not like I shun the rappers and stuff like that, Sometimes I might flip my radio station to a channel like that for and hour or less and just listen. Music is just something that is forever changing.

Another topic to ponder...
Does anyone else wonder why people pay more money for the brand name items when you can just get more for less someplace else ? One of the items like that is prescription drugs or OTC drugs. You can pay more for the big brand name drug, or you could pay less for the generic brand that does the same thing as the big brand name item. Another item is food, but yes sometime I do choose some brands over generic just because of the quality and taste, but things like noodles or mustard, ketchup, ect .... things like that don't taste different than the brand name item. In this economy (yes i may be young but I can grasp whats been happening in this country) most people cannot afford much, so why bother spending more money on stuff you don't have to, It's really just common sense. Clothes is something else you can get for cheap if you really look. My family has found the town thrift store to be a big help, sometimes you can find clothes from expensive stores such as Hollister, Aeropostale, Charlotte Russe. The best thing is you can find them for just a few dollars! Where as at the actual store you pay at least 25.00$ for an item such as one shirt . Sometimes its okay to treat yourself with a shopping trip and such but not all the time. Well anyway that's my opinion on the whole thing , what do you think?

Well, first post! I suppppposse  its not that exciting or anything , im sure nobody really reads these anyway.
Anyway let me tell you a little bit about this blog; It really isn't about anything in specific, I might write about something I'm thinking about or something going on in the media , etc.... I'm not big on grammar, so please don't correct me, I try my best.


Today's subject:
   I'm not into today's trend of  "plugs". You know , the  small holes in the ears. I mean the small ones you can't really notice are okay, like the ones that close, but some of the bigger ones that will be like that for the rest of that persons life, there has got to be regret in that persons life at some point. I don't know what it is about them that really pushes my buttons, maybe its the fact that most of them are sticking their fingers in them, that's disgusting. Maybe it's the fact that that's how their ears are going to look like for the rest of their life. Anyway, what do you think?
